The Greers Ferry Walleye Club partnered with the Corps of Engineers to build 16 new Fish Structures. The structures were made from Skidoo shipping crates. The workers tore off the cloth from the crates, removed sections of the crates, strengthened the crates. built frames to the hold the concrete blocks, installed the blocks, and inserted wood slats. The COE then transported and released the structures in various areas of Greers Ferry Lake. (We are waiting to receive the GPS coordinates of all the coordinates.)

Thank you to all the individuals who helped out with this event. Thank you for the COE for allowing us to join them to take pictures and videos of the releasing of two of the structures. This event is an example of the Greers Ferry Walleye Club partnering with government agencies like the Corps of Engineers.

Click here to see photos of this event. In the future we will be adding a detailed video.
